Our Bar & Grill opening in Kingpin Melbourne (Jan 2026) will feature a state-of-the-art open kitchen including a Josper Grill and pizza oven. Some of your key areas of responsibility will be: Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations, supporting the management team with stocktake where required and ordering, rostering duties Support the execution of Group & Corporate events, working with your stakeholders to deliver on best outcomes Becoming a champion of safety both inside & outside our kitchen Train and develop your team to ensure they have every opportunity to grow their careers Enthusiastically drive and implement and new menus and F&B promotions Key Attributes & Capabilities: Putting people neatly into boxes, isn’t really our style, but there are a few key factors that will be really important when it comes to selecting the right candidate for this position: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in high volume restaurants or premium casual dining environment A hands‑on chef who is able to multi‑task and prioritise Strong understanding of food safety principles, particularly allergen & dietary management, + regulatory compliance requirements Experience in working across large scale events and functions Ready to Escape Ordinary?
