Ausquip Industrial Hose is a supplier of industrial hoses, fittings, and assemblies. We support industries including wine production, food & beverage, automotive, oil & gas, and manufacturing. We are a small, practical, and collaborative team that values initiative, accountability, and results. About the Role We are seeking a Sales & Customer Experience Specialist who is confident on the phone/email, proactive with follow-ups, and comfortable driving sales activity. This is a full‑time role combining: Customer service and account coordination Technical and product support You will work closely with the BDM and Operations Manager to generate new business, manage existing customers, and ensure our customers receive accurate information, reliable follow‑up, and high‑quality service. Key Responsibilities Technical & Administrative Support Create new parts, BOMs, and assemblies in the CRM Maintain hose asset management data, testing records, and customer reports Assist with monthly sales reporting and forecasting Ensure accuracy across all documentation, quotes, and system updates Sales Process & Account Management Manage day‑to‑day sales activities in the CRM Follow up quotes, track progress, and close sales Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities Support customers through onboarding and after‑sales service Customer Experience & Support Provide accurate information, fast responses, and clear communication to all enquiries Manage and all customer‑related comms, including all after‑sales processes Manage customer orders, testing updates, and general enquiries Coordinate with Operations and Warehouse on job progress and delivery timelines Maintain detailed customer notes, pricing, and activity history Build a working knowledge of our product lines, suppliers, and pricing Understand competitor offerings and customer buying behaviours Identify trends and opportunities within key industries Research prospects, qualify leads, and build call lists Conduct cold calls and outbound follow‑ups to create new opportunities Respond to incoming enquiries, converting them into quotes and active opportunities Deliver tailored product information and solutions over the phone or email Prepare proposals and support contract discussions What You Will Bring A passion for delivering high‑level service to all customers and partners Experience in sales, lead generation and sales process Solid admin skills and CRM experience (this is essential) Confidence in cold calling, comfortable initiating conversations Strong communication and rapport‑building abilities High attention to detail, especially when quoting or entering data or sending follow‑up comms to customers Proactive mindset, you take action without waiting for direction Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast‑paced environment Positive team attitude and willingness to support the wider team Why Join Ausquip?
