Project Assistant - Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) Role Overview 12‑month contract, part‑time (30.4 hours per week) with a pro rata salary of $79,681 – $84,564 per annum plus superannuation. The Centre for Adolescent Health (CAH) at MCRI is seeking a motivated, organised and communication‑savvy Project Assistant to help drive the success of our research, engagement and education activities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate, develop and promote CAH publications, events and research outputs across multiple channels. Produce the weekly staff e‑newsletter and support the creation of the quarterly external CAH e‑newsletter. Help promote CAH activities, achievements and education programs (including the University of Melbourne Adolescent Health and Wellbeing postgraduate program) via LinkedIn and the CAH website. Maintain an accurate digital record of CAH publications and outputs for websites, reports and internal use. Develop and maintain a best‑practice SOP for capturing Centre outputs in collaboration with MCRI’s Data Office. Manage the Centre’s internal grants database and digital project archives. Qualifications & Experience Relevant professional experience and/or a tertiary qualification in Health, Communications, Marketing, Science or a related field. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality reporting and communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with online databases (e.g. EndNote, REDCap). Experience using social media for professional promotion, advocacy or engagement. Familiarity with digital design and marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Buffer, Mailchimp, Vision6). Understanding of social media best practice, particularly on LinkedIn and X. Experience in research or education settings (highly desirable).
