About the Role To lead and support the NPE Sales Team in the progression of sustainable profitable growth. Develop and implement sales strategies and establish or develop professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities To lead recruit mentor and performance manage the Sales Team establishing reinforcing and measuring their performance goals and KPIs. Lead the development of the sales team in a technical solution-based sales environment. Drive the implementation of territory plans and support the team in the successful execution of their plans; look at potential areas for region expansion. Network nationally to leverage existing customer relationships. Conduct regular individual and team meetings to enhance overall sales performance. Implementation of the three-year plan to ensure NPE is well positioned to improve business performance and achieve sustainable profitable growth and market share. Identify the path to market leadership without compromising profit and performance parameters. Manage the rate card and oversee the quality and accuracy of all sales documentation. Coordination and management of tenders, bids, quotes and contracts on large projects in line with the NPE costing module striving to achieve or exceed profit targets. Co‑ordinate with the Brand and Communication team to ensure the NPE brand is recognised by its target markets in a way which supports the professional image of NPE and improve sales promotions and campaigns. Diligent management of national sales expenditure. Effective business communication at all levels supporting and engaging with all relevant stakeholders in a professional and timely manner to ensure the outcome meets our strategic growth and revenue objectives. Facilitate and build high level relationships with clients in our target markets and develop long‑term supply agreements with those clients focusing on effective specialty and packaged solutions for clients. Ensure that customer service standards are maintained at a high level with positive feedback and minimal loss of major or lucrative clients or contracts. Consolidate and provide EOM and ad hoc sales reports to the General Manager to track business performance and sales forecasting. Monitor and report on competitor activity as well as market trends and expectations; identify new potential client product or market opportunities. Cultivate relationships and maintain concise effective communication with the entire NPE team. Work within corporate policies and procedures and demonstrate expected behaviours aligned with professional conduct and business code of practice. Comply with and implement the Company’s HSEQ and HR policies and procedures. Skills and Experience (Essential) Tertiary qualifications in sales, business management or engineering or minimum of five years previous high level sales experience. Demonstrated strategic sales leadership in a technical solution selling environment ideally in industrial rental. Highly developed strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
