Role Overview The Content Creator is responsible for driving GYM BOD's brand presence across all major social media platforms through highly engaging, on-trend, viral and on-brand content. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role brings ideas to life through video, photography, editing and copywriting—delivering daily content that builds community, drives traffic, increases brand awareness across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn to ultimately increase GYM BOD sales and market share. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Ideation & Planning Develop creative concepts and content series aligned with marketing campaigns, brand voice and product lines. Stay ahead of social trends and platform innovations to ensure content remains fresh and relevant. 2. Content Production & Creation Film, photograph, and design content across platforms including Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and static posts. Write engaging captions, hooks, and CTAs tailored to each platform's best practices. Create behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, influencer, and product-focused content. Assist in the creation of content for additional channels such as email marketing, activations & OOH campaigns. 3. Editing & Delivery Edit short-form and long-form video content optimised for each platform. Ensure all content is brand-aligned, visually compelling, and meets publishing deadlines. 4. Community & Platform Engagement Monitor content performance and feedback, collaborating with the Marketing Manager to refine strategies. Engage with community online (comments, DMs, reposts). 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the Marketing Manager on campaign rollouts and product launches. Liaise with external creators, influencers, and production partners as required. Support Marketing Manager in creation of brand assets to support brand growth (Brand PPT presentations). 6. Brand Activations Work closely with the Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of Brand Activations and product sampling sessions. Work at product sampling stations to activate the brand at influencer, community and retailer events. KPIs Weekly content volume and consistency across platforms. Engagement rates (likes, shares, comments, saves). Follower growth and reach per platform. Campaign-specific performance metrics (e.g. CTR, video completion rate). Key Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience in content creation, preferably within lifestyle, FMCG, or DTC brands. Extremely organised Proficiency in video editing (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro), photography, and graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite). Addicted to TikTok and Instagram Strong understanding of social media algorithms and content trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Creative thinker with strong storytelling skills and a flair for aesthetic execution. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Ability to follow direction and execute on projects independently. Tertiary degree qualification in Digital Media, Graphic Design or Marketing is preferred. A passion for food or health and wellness is preferred. Attention to detail, highly organised (really important - saying it twice) and strong time management skills (saying it for a third time) Australian work rights required for this position.
