Senior Solution Specialist - M365 Datacom is hiring a Senior Solution Specialist to join our Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence. The role is based across major Australian cities and offers a flexible work‑from‑home arrangement, subject to team needs. About the Role The Senior Solution Specialist will design, build and support end‑to‑end Microsoft 365 solutions for customers. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, delivering a first‑class experience for consumers of our Intelligent Workplace services, and providing guidance and project delivery using best‑practice, modern technology approaches. What You’ll Do Analyse business requirements and develop project documentation, including solution designs, recommendation reports and systems as‑built. Facilitate customer workshops and presentations, providing thought leadership. Provide technical leadership for customer Microsoft 365 environments and solutions. Build and deploy solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps. Lead and execute Microsoft 365 migration projects, migrating information from legacy systems into SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps. Facilitate training workshops and develop training materials. Follow best‑practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (e.g., Change/Release). Provide governance and support to customer Microsoft 365 environments. What You’ll Bring Required Experience Previous experience in an ICT professional services organisation as a Microsoft 365 consultant. Experience designing, building and deploying SharePoint Online, MS Teams and Power Platform solutions. Experience migrating content into Microsoft 365. Strong presentation skills and experience running workshops. Ability to address complex business problems with M365‑based solutions. Experience designing and implementing enterprise information architecture. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience developing Power Automate workflows and Power Apps. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Extensive knowledge of core collaboration services in M365 (SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive). Experience developing PowerShell scripts. Nice to Have Experience developing custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, C#, and HTML/CSS. Experience with Information Management and Information Protection (Microsoft Purview). Experience building custom integrations. Experience using AvePoint and Nintex.
