Our franchisees are small business owners who rely on our support office to help them succeed. This role includes analysing financials, providing strategic recommendations to franchisees, and collaborating with the Operations team to achieve commercial goals. Responsibilities Assess the financial health, risk and security of your portfolio of franchise bakeries; make recommendations and implement commercial and financial solutions with stakeholder partnership. Lead the Annual Business Review process, focusing on critical franchisees and those for expansion, and assess the overall financial health of the network. Collaborate with the Franchise Development Team, Property Team and Operation Teams to decide suitability and readiness for new sites/expansion from a financial and commercial perspective. Assess return on investment for new sites and refurbishments. Support management of franchisee debt, work with financiers and franchisees on loan refinancing, and prepare loan and debt provisions. Use influence to manage and implement Commercial Team led projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Provide commercial advice and support to franchisees and other stakeholders, and lead decisions around commercial viability. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role or as a Financial Analyst partnering with internal departments to provide Commercial advice. Working knowledge of accounting principles, banking and funding requirements in a franchise, retail or multi-site environment. Business degree qualification with CA or CPA designation. Strong financial and business acumen with practiced negotiation skills. Problem solver who can identify and manage risks and seek efficiencies. Desire to work with people, build relationships and partner with others for successful outcomes.
