Business Development Manager – HVAC and Data Center Industry ABB – Moorebank, New South Wales, Australia At ABB, we help industries outrun, become leaner and cleaner. Reporting to: Local Division Manager – Drives Products and System Drives Your Role and Responsibilities Drive sales and growth of Variable Speed Drives within the NSW HVAC and Data Center segments, meeting volume, mix, and profitability targets while developing new growth opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and influencers. Support ABB’s channels (OEMs, distributors, system integrators, panel builders) and lead multi‑tender bids to capture new business. Prepare and execute annual sales strategies for the NSW drives market, prioritise major opportunities and foster cross‑division knowledge sharing to strengthen ABB’s competitive position. Maintain Salesforce CRM data, ensure accuracy in offers and contracts, participate in negotiations and uphold workplace safety standards (training, PPE compliance, incident reporting). Qualifications for the Role Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred). Strong product knowledge and understanding of drive technologies. Demonstrated experience in business development or sales management. Deep familiarity with the NSW HVAC and Data Center customer base. Experience with Salesforce highly regarded. Excellent communication and collaborative problem‑solving skills.
