Principal Work Health & Safety Advisor We are seeking a Principal WH&S Advisor for a leading not‑for‑profit organisation. This senior, strategic role offers the opportunity to shape a safety culture, influence organisational practices, and make a tangible impact across multiple sites. Summary As Principal WH&S Advisor you will lead a team of WHS Advisors, driving best‑practice safety initiatives while mentoring your team to achieve operational excellence. This role offers the autonomy to shape processes, influence culture, and deliver strategic impact. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for WHS initiatives, including risk management, safety auditing, and performance improvement. Mentor and supervise WHS Advisors, ensuring high‑quality operational delivery. Analyze data to identify risks and trends, using tools such as PowerBI to inform mitigation strategies. Collaborate with managers and operational teams to implement safe systems of work and embed a proactive safety culture. Support governance, policies, and compliance with WHS legislation and organisational standards. Partner with leadership to develop and implement WHS strategy, programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Travel to multiple sites to understand operational challenges and work closely with facility and team leaders. Requirements Degree or Postgraduate qualification in WHS or related risk management discipline. Strong leadership and mentoring experience, including team management. Strategic thinking and analytical capability. Experience in WHS auditing, risk management, and operational program delivery. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Desirable NFP or healthcare sector experience. Professional membership of relevant industry associations. Experience using PowerBI or similar data analytics tools. In Return Salary: $125,000–$140,000 + super + salary packaging. Flexible work arrangements, including WFH with travel to sites as required.
