We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in fast‑paced environments and has proven experience hiring commercial roles, from sales and marketing to customer success. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we attract and hire exceptional talent across our Sydney and wider APAC teams. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, partnering closely with the business, influencing hiring decisions, and bringing the best commercial talent into a company transforming the way modern governance and compliance work gets done. This role will be a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. Key Responsibilities Partner deeply with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft compelling job ads that speak to Diligent’s brand and culture. Own full‑cycle recruitment for commercial roles – sourcing, screening, and closing top talent across sales, marketing, customer success, and more. Source creatively through networking, talent communities, and digital platforms to find and engage high-caliber candidates before they hit the market. Be a trusted advisor to business leaders — providing insights on market trends, compensation, and hiring best practices. Champion an outstanding candidate experience from first touch to offer stage, ensuring every interaction reflects our values. Leverage technology – from our ATS to data‑driven sourcing tools – to streamline and enhance how we recruit. Manage agency partnerships where needed, ensuring accountability, alignment, and strong collaboration. Bring market intelligence to the table: share trends, talent insights, and competitor activity that inform our hiring strategies. Required Skills/Experience Proven success recruiting commercial roles (sales, marketing, GTM, or similar), ideally in a tech-driven or SaaS environment. A track record of delivering across multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced, high‑growth setting. Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and influence commercial priorities. A relationship‑first mindset – you build trust quickly with stakeholders and candidates alike. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal. Comfort with data, systems, and process – you know how to use tools to make hiring smarter and more efficient.
