Job Description: As a Transport Dispatcher, you will be the mastermind behind our transportation operations, ensuring flawless execution and exceeding customer expectations. Your strategic mindset and exceptional leadership skills will empower you to optimize routes, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across our fleet. Whilst the role is to start as a part time, it will eventually be a full time role. Responsibilities Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Oversee the planning and execution of transportation schedules, coordinating the movement of work across multiple routes. Optimize route planning and load consolidation, maximizing efficiency while minimizing costs and environmental impact. Implement and refine dispatch systems and software tools, ensuring seamless communication and real-time visibility of operations. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions. Foster strong relationships with drivers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the supply chain. Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, acting swiftly to minimize disruptions and maintain exceptional service levels. Providing support to Admin team when and where required. Qualifications Some experience will be beneficial in transport or a fast pace environment. A proven track record of success in a leadership role. Understanding of transportation operations, dispatching principles, and logistics management systems. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and technology to drive informed decision-making. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Proven problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
