Horticulturist – The Beautiful Bunch The Beautiful Bunch is seeking a skilled and motivated Horticulturist to oversee an exciting new project incorporating innovative agricultural technology. Based in Melbourne, The Beautiful Bunch is a floral delivery social enterprise dedicated to creating training and employment opportunities for young women from refugee backgrounds. Our mission is to provide meaningful work experience, build confidence and capability, and support our trainees to develop the skills and connections needed to thrive in Australia. We are looking for an experienced Horticulturist who is passionate about plants, emerging horticultural technologies, and making a positive social impact. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee The Beautiful Bunch’s new horticulture-focused project from development to implementation. Manage all aspects of plant care, including maintenance, propagation, pest and disease management, and general indoor and outdoor garden development. Contribute to research and development initiatives, collaborating closely with the Founder and CEO to shape project strategy. Maintain accurate records and analyse horticultural data to inform improvements to systems. Deliver training and guidance to the broader Beautiful Bunch team to ensure effective project maintenance and understanding. About You Strong alignment with The Beautiful Bunch’s mission, values, and social impact goals. Highly systematic and methodical, with excellent problem-solving skills. Proactive and self-directed, with a strong sense of initiative. Demonstrates diligence, discipline, and attention to detail. Experienced in monitoring, documenting, and evaluating horticultural experiments. Skilled in identifying plant needs and optimal care requirements. Passionate about agricultural and horticultural technology. Confident working independently and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Completed relevant studies in horticulture, agriculture, plant science, or a related field.
