Sales & Operations Coordinator | Pathway Into External Sales About the Company Join a global engineering and manufacturing group known for supplying high-performance sealing and fluid-control solutions used across almost every major industrial sector. Their products support everything from heavy machinery and mining equipment to food processing, energy, and advanced manufacturing, giving you exposure to a wide range of applications and customers. The Perth branch is small rapidly growing, highly collaborative and supportive, giving you exposure to every part of the operation. You’ll be working closely with highly experienced leaders who are genuinely committed to developing the right person into a long-term external sales career. About the Role The Perth branch is small, growing quickly, and highly engaged and collaborative. You’ll have exposure across the whole operation and work with leaders who are genuinely invested in developing the right person into a long-term external sales role. You’ll receive direct mentoring and support from: State Manager WA National Business Development Manager National Customer Service Manager National Technical Product Manager This combined support structure is rare and gives you commercial, technical, and customer-facing training from all angles. The business is investing for the long term and wants someone who is driven, curious, and ready to grow. What You’ll Be Doing Customer Service & Coordination (approx. 50%) Manage the national inbox and respond to customer enquiries Prepare quotations and process orders Support mid-tier clients with day-to-day service needs Work closely with the National Customer Service Manager for training and development Account Management & External Sales (approx. 40%) Identify opportunities and book customer meetings Conduct on-site client visits with guidance from senior sales leaders Build product and application knowledge with the National Technical Product Manager Grow your external sales exposure as your capability builds Operational & Warehouse Support (less than 10%) Assist with basic warehouse tasks a few hours per week due to the lean branch setup Pallet handling and occasional forklift operation (license provided if you don’t have one) Support weekly sales and operations meetings Open the Perth office and manage daily operational decisions What You Bring Experience in customer service, ideally with technical or industrial manufactured products An interest in developing into an external sales career Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage varied tasks Confidence with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Excel A proactive mindset and willingness to learn Technical curiosity (no engineering qualification required) What’s On Offer Competitive salary + car allowance + annual bonus Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:40pm Hybrid-style role combining customer service, sales, and light operational work A genuine, supported pathway into external sales Direct mentoring from four national leaders Product, systems, and warehouse training provided Opportunity to take ownership in a growing Perth branch Long-term growth within a global organisation If you're looking for a role that offers real development, real mentoring, and real progression -this is an opportunity worth exploring.
