About This Opportunity We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our NSW Service Sales team (Sydney-based), focussing on Planned Service Agreements (PSA). Experience across BMS, HVAC, or Security is desirable. The Role Will Involve Industry networking to promote visibility of Johnson Controls in the market. Driving growth via new recurring service business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, selling and closing new PSA. Developing new PSA offerings, including digitally enabled service products. Working in partnership with local teams to support successful development of proposals and estimates. Establishing and building client relationships to clearly identify their needs and priorities. Establishing budgets and documenting such information for next steps. Preparing and delivering client presentations. Negotiating and agreeing on contract terms and conditions. Closing deals and initiating handover to service delivery teams. Who We Are Looking For Someone with exceptional customer‑facing skills or an experienced salesperson with a hunting mindset. Proven sales skills and ability to identify customer needs and priorities. 5+ years’ experience in HVAC, BMS or Security. Demonstrated financial and business acumen with strong customer relationship management skills. Knowledge and ability to embrace current industry technologies and digital service offerings. Strong pipeline management experience and proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC). Proven track record in delivering strong results with full accountability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and with customers and stakeholders. Excellent networking skills, business‑minded, change‑oriented and proactive. Strong established network in the local market. Ability to obtain your Security License. Only applicants who have a current right to work in Australia will be considered.
