Trading Account Executive – Metal Recycling Join to apply for the Trading Account Executive – Metal Recycling role at GFG Alliance . About the Role As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for scrap metal procurement (both ferrous and non-ferrous) and coordinating delivery to nominated InfraBuild Recycling facilities. Working closely with the State Trading Managers and the Account Executive team, you will contribute to operational safety and drive excellence in customer service. This role is based in East Maitland. Key Responsibilities Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts and develop new business. Develop rapport with customers and tailor products/services to their specific needs. Prioritise work demands to manage customer retention and satisfaction. Negotiate quotes considering bespoke customer requirements. Comply with ACCC and Trade Practices in all customer and contractor interactions. Support the ‘Goal Zero’ strategy by operating in a manner that does not expose themselves or others to hazards that could result in injury or illness. Engage in general continuous improvement initiatives. Required Foundations Strong experience in sales or account management. (Desirable) Experience in scrap metal recycling and other waste and recycling industries. (Desirable) Ability to influence outcomes with various stakeholder groups to achieve strategic objectives. Adherence to relevant company policies including safe work practices. High resilience and a solutions-focused mindset to support business objectives and strategies. Demonstrated time management and project planning ability. Ability to identify opportunities for growth or improvement across a complex business.
