We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administration & Accounts Officer to join our small, close-knit team at Pearl Home Care in Mitcham, Victoria. In this casual role, starting immediately, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to our growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about contributing to the success of our organisation. We anticipate an average of 5-6 hours per day and are happy to accommodate school hours. Possibility of converting into a permanent role in the medium term. What you'll be doing Handling a variety of admin tasks: data entry, filing, document control and records management Monitoring shared inboxes and phones; responding to client, family and provider enquiries with warmth and professionalism Assisting with the management, coordination and data entry for client services Managing supplier and contractor compliance documentation; tracking expiries and following up promptly Supporting the broader team with any other administrative duties as required What we're looking for Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the aged care/home care industry Greek-speaking candidates highly preferred Candidates with Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Home & Community) or higher Health degree highly preferred Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure Excellent communication, phone manner and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable learning new systems A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Australian work rights are essential for this position A current driver’s licence, vehicle and a police check obtained within the last 3 years is required for this position What we offer At Pearl Home Care, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
