THE POSITION As the Warranty Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of energetic warranty clerks to ensure the accurate costing and processing of manufacturer warranty claims, warranty parts storage and confirmation. Responsibilities Managing the Warranty team to deliver a positive and professional customer experience. Assessing vehicle eligibility for warranty work. Liaising with workshop staff on warranty related issues and queries. Maintaining an up to date and accurate warranty claim ledger. Checking all repair orders have been signed and recorded accurately. Maintaining storage of warranty parts in line with distributor guidelines. Liaise and communicate with manufacturers. Submit timely and accurate warranty claims. Assist in advising customers of vehicle warranty coverage and associated policies. Required skills A demonstrated ‘People Person’ with motivation and initiative. Experience within the Automotive industry. Demonstrated experience working within and supervising a team. A good understanding of the vehicle servicing processes and procedures. Strong verbal, written and listening skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and Email. Technical knowledge. Applicant must have a current and valid Queensland “C” class driver’s licence.
