NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centre's. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs. Responsibilities Step into a pivotal role that makes a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families across the Nepean and Blue Mountains region. As an Administrative Officer within the Child, Youth and Family Mental Health (CYF-MH) service, you’ll be at the heart of a multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver compassionate, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented care in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Your expertise in administration, coordination, and customer service will ensure the smooth daily operation of the team, allowing clinicians to focus on what they do best, providing life‑changing mental health support. Qualifications Demonstrated clerical experience with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and privacy including ability to always maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated experience using Windows-based software including databases and experience in using MS Word and Excel with proven typing skills. Demonstrated ability and commitment to be flexible and adaptable to workplace change. Current Driver’s License and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
