They are currently enjoying exponential growth which is a result of the Collaborative Culture driven by the company’s directors. They now employ over fifty full time staff across Tasmania and provide Turnkey/One Stop shop – Design and delivery solutions for clients in the Commercial/Industrial, Agricultural and Mining industries (e.g., shopping centres, car showrooms, industrial warehouses, rural structures, public facilities). Typical construction values of each project are in the order of $2m to $15M. They consistently exceed customer expectations by displaying an unrivalled commitment to excellence, outstanding service, and quality workmanship. Due to increased workload, a newly created position has become available for an experienced Construction Manager who can manage project teams – looking after multiple projects at various stages of design and delivery. Based in modern offices in the Launceston area and reporting to the General Manager/Operations Director, a summary of duties will include: Taking full responsibility for the day to day running of all projects under construction to ensure that projects are safely completed within Time, Cost and Quality. Manage and motivate teams of Project Managers, Site Supervisors and Contract Administrators. Identify risk and opportunity in every aspect of the business. Work in collaboration with all parties to ensure successful outcomes for all. Facilitate project performance reporting, ensuring leadership visibility of key metrics including safety, budget, progress, risks, and variances. Ability to work in a collaborative manner with all parties – including the board of directors. The successful applicant will have: Unrestricted work rights in Australia. At least TEN years’ experience in delivering projects such as the above. Experience with a Tier two Construction Company – managing multiple projects such as the above would be highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar. Ability to pass pre‑employment medicals/Police checks.
