About the Role As FibreconX continues to grow, we’re seeking a driven Business Development Manager with a genuine hunter mindset to accelerate our wholesale partnerships and revenue. Reporting to the General Manager - Sales, this role is perfect for someone early in their sales career who thrives on prospecting, learning quickly, and building new relationships in a fast-paced high-growth environment. You’ll be on the frontline engaging carriers, cloud providers, data centre operators, and digital infrastructure partners — bringing new logos into a challenger business that’s innovative, ambitious, and rapidly scaling across Australia. Experience in telecommunications, data centre or cloud is preferred, but not essential. What Makes FibreconX Different We are not a reseller — we own, operate and control our network end to end. No carrier red tape - fast decisions, lean processes, constant innovation. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets. Build a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and engagement. Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and value propositions. Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through to negotiation and close. Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key decision-makers. Track sales activity, forecasts, and progress using CRM tools and structured processes. Stay across industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities. Represent FibreconX professionally at meetings, events, and industry forums. What We’re Looking For Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles. Background in Telecoms, Cloud or Data Center (preferred but not mandatory). A strong hunter mindset - proactive, persistent, and driven to close new business. Interest in wholesale telco models, partner ecosystems, and digital infrastructure. Ability to communicate clearly and position technical value in simple terms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery.
