An exciting opportunity exists for a Tibetan-speaking Project Officer to join the Multicultural Health Service in the Northern Sydney Local Health District and support the health and well‑being of the largest Tibetan community in Australia. Where you'll be working Multicultural Health Service, Cremorne Community Health Centre What you'll be doing The Project Officer will work with health services, stakeholders and community members to achieve better health outcomes, improved health literacy and better access to health services for the local Tibetan community. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Tertiary qualifications in health, welfare, social science or related fields or working towards. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health services, experiences of refugees and humanitarian entrants and the impact of torture and trauma on individuals, families and communities.
