We currently have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Ampol Group TA team. The role will drive strategic, end‑to‑end hiring across Group Functions AU (Finance, P&C etc) and Commercial Fuels & Energy (AU/NZ) portfolio – blending hands‑on recruitment delivery with projects, mentoring, executive hiring, and influence across multiple regions. The role will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, provide market insights, lead improvements to our hiring processes, and deliver exceptional talent outcomes that support our business growth and transformation agenda. Key Responsibilities Own the full recruitment lifecycle for senior, specialist, and business-critical roles for Corporate AU and Commercial Fuels & Energy. Partner with leaders to shape effective sourcing strategies, generate and use market intelligence to advise leaders on talent supply, salary expectations, and competitive trends. Act as a subject matter expert to strengthen sourcing, stakeholder management, and recruitment excellence across the TA team. Partner with TA, P&C and business leaders across AU/NZ to align on workforce plans and talent needs. Navigate cultural nuances and labor market differences to tailor hiring approaches for each region. Influence leaders at all levels to adopt best-practice recruitment and enable strategic workforce decisions. Lead searches for Director-level and senior leadership roles, including stakeholder management at the C-suite level. Leverage the ATS and related systems to produce accurate, timely, and insightful reporting for the business, including hiring performance, pipeline health, and market insights. Design and execute TA Strategies for business units, aligned to broader Group TA strategy. Contribute to enterprise and regional TA / P&C projects. Qualifications Deep understanding of modern TA processes, sourcing methodologies, and end-to-end hiring frameworks across complex, multi-stakeholder corporate settings. Prior experience supporting recruitment across Finance & Corporate Functions in an enterprise environment. Proven capability in executive hiring or partnering closely with senior leadership teams for Director-level and above roles. Hands-on experience optimising Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. SmartRecruiters or similar), including workflow design, template configuration, automations, and system enhancements that support corporate and executive recruitment. Skilled in leveraging ATS technology for reporting, insights, and continuous improvement initiatives. Adept at translating system capability into business value and enabling adoption across TA and business stakeholders. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience partnering across Talent Acquisition, HRBP teams, and senior business leaders to deliver strategic hiring outcomes. Desirable: Experience managing/mentoring offshore sourcing functions. Benefits Competitive total remuneration.
