About us Knox Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. All supported by the expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit. Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be. Our Administration Officers provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families. This is a great role for experienced and patient care focused individuals who are wanting to achieve work-life balance and a dynamic career in Healthcare. This is a part time position with set shifts: Thursday 3-9, Friday 7-3, Saturday 8-2 and Sunday 9-5. There is also the opportunity to pick up extra shifts on other days of the week. Responsibilities Greet all customers Handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner Answer and redirect calls Organize appointments and prepare admission paperwork Perform Health Fund Checks as required Coordinate with staff from other departments Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records Qualifications Experience in an acute patient focused Healthcare facility/Hospital Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Strong attention to detail Works well independently and within a team Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) WebPas Hospital system experience (desired) Why Healthscope?
