In our Electric & Automation department in Vienna we are searching for an Engineer Instrumentation and Process Control (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

Electrical implementation of process instrumentation to flow sheets (P&ID) together with process engineers for plants in the metals industry Specification of instruments and related process functional descriptions Selection and dimensioning of (field) instrumentation equipment for process control according to process requirements Contributing to HAZOP and SAFETY, supporting all stakeholders in multinational projects incl. customers. Optimization and maintaining of existing solutions as well as the development of new, innovative solutions for the technical and economic improvement of systems and processes Contributing to the internal knowledge management system with regards to process engineering Testing and commissioning of our systems as well as training and instruction of our international customers in our test fields, workshops and on job sites

Your Profile

Completed technical education (college or university) in the field of electrical engineering / automation technology or similar At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation and process control Good knowledge of European and international guidelines and standards (IEC, NEMA / UL) is beneficial Good knowledge of modern instrumentation engineering tools, COMOS is beneficial Structured and solution-oriented way of thinking and analytical approach Responsible and independent way of working Intercultural openness, strong communication skills Team player, flexible working in international project teams Good English skills spoken and written (B2) required, German and other language skills are beneficial Willingness to international travel (10-20%)
