Anexcellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join ourWorkplace Relations & Safety team.
This rolewill allow you to take carriage of interesting and challengingmatters, develop your own relationships with clients, build astrong brand within the industry, and work closely with twomarket-leading partners in a growing team.
What can youexpect in the role?
- Diverse range ofmatters including both strategic advisory work and complexlitigation matters
- Working directly withclients to advise on dismissals, workplace investigations,workplace bullying and sexual harassment claims, work healthand safety, award compliance and enterprisebargaining
- Defending unfairdismissal, general protections and anti-discriminationclaims
- Working withbusinesses of varying sizes, including large privatecorporations and ASX listed entities, across industries such asconstruction, mining and resources, technology, manufacturing,education and training, medical and health services, andprofessional services
- Takingownership of your own case load with the assistance of juniorlawyers
- Involvement inbusiness development opportunities and presentations externalstakeholders to develop a strong brand within theindustry
Tobe successful in the role, you will need:
- 3+years PQE
- Demonstratedexperience working on a range of employment and industrialrelations matters
- Astrong work ethic, technical knowledge and organisationalskills
- Aproactive approach to delivering timely and practical solutionsto solve complex legal issues
- Agenuine passion and interest in employment law
- Excellentinterpersonal and leadership skills and the enthusiasm toprovide mentoring to other team members
