Vanilla Blue is an award-winning corporate caterer that delivers over 100 orders to clients in greater Sydney daily. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our rapidly expanding business

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving measurable results that will benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach and strengthens our existing client relationships. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

Key Objectives

  • Develop and implement plans to accelerate business growth
  • Develop a strategy for managing our top-tier client database
  • Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met 
  • Lead tenders and new business contract opportunities
Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the delivery of significant sales growth to the business
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
  • Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients 
  • Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
  • Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services
  • Seek out and complete new business tenders
  • Write business proposals for new clients
  • Report to senior management on business strengths and areas of improvement
  • Draft growth strategies in consultation with senior management
  • Increase the client base through attending networking events, researching prospects, cold-calling potential customers, following up on incoming leads and generating leads for the sales team
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with our client base that generate further growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven record of sales growth 
  • Experience in a sales-related field
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques 
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
  • Experience within the hospitality sector

Job Offer

  • Total OT Earnings $130K - $140K
  • Base of $90K to $95K + Super
  • Bonus of up to 20% of base dependent on achieving agreed KPI's 
  • Car allowance of $12Kpa 
  • Full-Time role
  • Tools of the trade provided 
  • Daily staff meals provided 
  • Shutdowns over Christmas & public holidays
