The Opportunity

Our award-winning security business is looking for a BusinessDevelopment Manager to hunt out sales opportunities and drive growth across theVictoria and Tasmania region. In this critical role, you’ll be a key player inbuilding our market position by targeting, qualifying, negotiating, closing,and nurturing profitable and enduring business relationships across the region.

This is a pivotal moment in the product’s lifecycle as securityproducts globally transition into the cloud and adapt SaaS, so we need someonewho can help move the Security business to a market-driven approach thatmaximise the benefits of leading-edge technology. Key responsibilitieswill include:

  • Contributeto the development and execution of the growth strategy for the region.
  • Drivenew business with the region and expand existing relationships in keyverticals.
  • Buildthe Security business profile in targeted vertical sectors.
  • Growchannel partner support and communication processes that enhance partnerrelationships.
  • Analysemarket trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to informaccount strategies.
  • Negotiatecontract renewals, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to ensureprofitability and client satisfaction.
  • Networkwidely to challenge your thinking and gain new insights and ideas to help drivesuccess.

The Fit

As a true sales hunter, you’ll excel at prospecting, generatingleads, and closing deals to expand geographic and vertical reach within yourregion. To succeed in this role you’ll also need:

  • 5+years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the technology orsecurity industry.
  • Solution selling experience with the ability tolisten to customer requirements and offer recommendations to solve their needs.
  • Ambition,and a results-driven approach with a track record of achieving or exceedingtargets.
  • Abilityto work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Analyticalmindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
