PALFINGER stands for most innovative, reliable and economic hoist-equipment on utility vehicles and in the maritime sector. To strengthen our sales - team we are looking for a Lead Area Sales Manager.

We are looking for a Lead Area Sales Manager Middle East & Africa as support for our sales-team. The Lead Area Sales Manager is part of the regional lead area manager team. You are representing PALFINGER cranes, timber & recycling cranes, hook & skiploader, platforms and truck mounted forklifts in all respects in front of the network. Furthermore, the lead area sales manager is in active cooperation with sales specialist, network development manager, field service manager, product manager and indirect sales. Annual strategic meeting to discuss the 3 years business plan with each distributor together with network development manager and field service manager is part of your tasks. The Lead Area Sales Manager is the central point of contact for all topics related to the development of all sales, project and sales organization development as well as technical discussions relating to development of new products.

**YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Market analysis and definition of potentials and targets
- Further development of organisational structures, markets and marketing
- Planning of budget/ Forecast / Trend monitoring / market information / analysis of competition of PALFINGER products and complete trucks
- Visit of international trade fairs or sales conferences
- Issue special offers for tenders and technical special lists
- Support and follow up for evaluation of Palfinger dealer standards and dealer/customer surveys
- Planning, organization and implementation of discount agreements in accordance with sales Management, evaluation of special agreements before expiration

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Commercial or technical education
- Several years of experience in Sales of technical investment goods
- High level of autonomy and self-responsibility
- High communication skills and enjoy contact with international partners
- Distinctive intercultural competencies
- Team-Player with language skills, organisation talent, distinctive negotiation skills as well as creative thinking
- Being customer focused, eager to learn, assertive and passionate about outcome
- Good MS Office and SAP skills
- Fluent in English; other language skills an advantage
- Willingness to travel

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.068,12 per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
