**Germany Sales Engineering Leader**

**About the job**
The Germany Sales Engineering Lead is responsible for establishing and furthering NielsenIQ’s strategic technology engagements across NielsenIQ country-based manufacturers and retailers while selling NielsenIQ’s next-generation Connect & Discover platform.

The Germany Sales Engineering Lead partners closely with our overall Project Moonshot team, our local Markets Leaders, Account and Customer Success teams in order to develop and implement a cohesive strategy and a tailored message representing NielsenIQ’s tech vision for each client. This Leader is responsible for engaging all functional teams within our client organizations, including marketing, sales, insights, analytics, and IT, with a particular emphasis on the most senior stakeholders, and ultimately to generate clients buy-into the transformation journey to NielsenIQ Connect & Discover.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead discovery sessions and work collaboratively with Account Teams to identify the customer’s key needs and pain points. Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and demonstrate how the platform can assist them to achieve their business objectives.
- Pitch and close sell of the transition to NielsenIQ Connect & Discover platform to existing clients, including articulating their case for change.
- Conduct storytelling product demonstrations that highlight the value the solution brings to the client. These demos must include both feature/function capabilities as well as the business insights and impact that will be created for the client.
- Be strong agent at the clients and lead them through a deep transformation in the tools & platform, wow and approach to their service needs..
- Achieve high conversion rate to the new platform for the assigned portfolio of clients
- People leader & team player: build and reinforce a positive and growth-oriented team culture, collaborate extremely efficiently with our Global Project Moonshot and Local teams.

**About you**
We are looking for a dynamic seller who is client-focused and tech-literate with a strong background in data-driven solutions and an in-depth knowledge of the market research and CPG ecosystem. A highly motivated team player, with a demonstrated track record of leadership, building alignment, and creating and growing revenue.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) or other analytical field
- 8+ years of cumulative experience across any of the following:

- Hands-on program management delivery in external client engagements
- CPG / management consulting
- SaaS sales & implementation
- Revenue-driving role within SaaS or CPG
- Strong understanding of NielsenIQ, IRi, or measurement data and how clients use it
- Ability to understand and synthesize client needs and value drivers across a wide range of client segments
- Natural collaborator with the ability to rally internal and external partners to a cause.
- Strong knowledge of cross disciplinary internal processes, and understanding of client data and systems in a world of big data.
- Client management skills: facilitation and influencing skills to manage expectations
- Exceptional communication skills
- Track record of successfully up-selling high value, complex technology or data services
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Demonstrated record of creating and growing revenue
- Strong knowledge of marketing research, technology, and general business models
- Ability to think analytically and leverage available assets to bring sales to a successful conclusion
- Outgoing, confident individual who is comfortable presenting to senior executives
