**About Exscientia**:
The Vienna Laboratory Operations team is searching for a Laboratory Operations Assistant on a full-time basis to help us ensure an organised, safe, and adequately equipped laboratory. As the Laboratory Operations Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the onboarding process for new equipment including installation and documentation activities, as well as ensuring the equipment is properly used and maintained. In addition, you will be involved in everyday wet lab activities supporting our Translational Research teams and making sure their projects can operate smoothly. Your effort will help directly facilitate research that investigates cutting-edge molecular entities that are being developed for treating multiple indications.

Exscientia developed the first-ever functional precision oncology platform to successfully guide treatment selection and improve patient outcomes in a prospective interventional clinical study, as well as to progress AI-designed small molecules into the clinical setting.

A Laboratory Operations Assistant position is crucial to our continuous growth and would help us in our mission to develop better medicines, faster, to people around the world.

**As the Laboratory Operations Assistant you will have the opportunity to**:

- Support delivery, installation, and documentation of new equipment
- Ensure equipment is in working order, including scheduling service and preventive maintenance
- Work in close contact with our quality management department
- Organise, take part or give equipment related trainings
- Perform supply and inventory tracking, including incoming control for lab supplies, validation and release of reagents to be used in the lab

**Requirements**:

- Completed HTL (Höhere technische Lehranstalt), education as MTA or BMA (or equivalent) or a Bachelor degree in the field of Life Science
- Prior work experience in an industrial or research laboratory in the field of life
- sciences, preferably experience in laboratory management
- Advanced organisational skills, great attention to detail with an ability to tackle multiple projects efficiently
- Microscopy experience would be a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, good written and spoken German language skills
