We are currently hiring for a** Business Operations Lead (all genders) on a full-time basis for our Vienna office.**

The Business Operations lead is the LOC LT partner and is responsible for key business insights and accountability mechanisms, ensuring that business operations are delivering to plan by orchestrating the project portfolio against business roadmap. Working side by side the Head of Strategy & Innovation and General Manager, this role offers broad exposure to business and entrepreneurship. You will analyse the different business challenges, work closely with the executive team of each function, and advise the board on implementing the projected vision.

**Responsibilities**
- Support of GM and local leadership team to develop the strategic agenda, translate it into tangible milestones and ensure excellence in operational execution
- Ownership of the annual planning processes incl. from brand planning, business review, MRP, MYC, FY Target / KPI/SIP setting & measurement
- Lead & activate the LOC governance model and decision-making bodies - preparation and facilitation of monthly performance meetings, strategy refresh sessions, cycle meetings etc. together with GM & Head of S&I
- Review and assess business priorities and building the LOC strategy narrative and drive the roll-out across the whole organization
- Engage in risk assessment for the organization, propose expert opinion to mitigate risks and enhance corporate governance; guide the development and implementation of the Risk Assessment Plan, related self-monitoring plans, legal risk assessment and any other relevant remediation plans
- Lead and support initiatives and special projects on behalf of the LOC management team, including facilitation, troubleshooting stakeholder management and decision-making
- Steer information flow, act as an orchestrator of Leadership team messages towards rest of the organization & provide focus on long-term strategic objectives
- Address cross-functional operational issues / challenges
**Qualifications & mindset**:

- 2+ years of prior experience in strategy, management consulting or finance
- Management consulting or investment banking experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree, MBA strongly preferred
- Good knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in coordinating, implementing and/or managing complex, diverse project and functions for a diverse environment. Project management and portfolio management experience in determining priorities and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong proven leadership in team building, motivating, and developing people
- Proven knowledge, accountability, and comprehension skills to formulate strategic planning and prioritization of projects, programs and activities, using sound judgement while meeting organizational skills
- Ability to influence and work effectively with various business partnerships, regions, and cultures
- Ability to develop strategic analysis that prepares decision-making on a large scale (e.g., investment options, business models, large-scale projects)
- Strong interpersonal skills, building successful relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to drive results.
- Strong project management skills to support driving cross group initiatives
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment, with mínimal supervision, strong personal drive and high level of self-motivation

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important position is € 6.000 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
