**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience leading and managing partnerships and partner relationships.
- Experience working in the carrier, operator, smartphone Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) industry and working with legal agreements.
- Ability to speak and write English and German fluently.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience with Austrian smartphone business in OEM, carrier and retail channels.
- Experience in sales management, business development and/or partner management in smartphone business.
- Experience in relationship management and working towards strategic business goals.
- Ability to interpret legal documents and work with lawyers to complete agreements.
- Ability to plan and manage strategic executive and operational levels within a fast-paced sales environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues.
**About the job**:
The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as Pixel, Daydream View, Google Wifi, Google Nest Thermostat, Chromecast Ultra and Google Home.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis and develop and communicate final recommendations.
- Forecast and report key metrics, track actual progress toward forecasts, drive and evaluate business growth of promotional and business opportunities.
- Manage hardware products and business growth. Identify opportunities and maintain long-term relationships with partners.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the hardware retail business in Germany. Work with Legal teams to discuss and execute complex agreements.
