Informatics Professional Services Specialist

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an **Informatics Professional Specialist **to support the very successful growth of our businesses across Austria and Eastern Europe.
**Responsibilities**:
- Planning and delivering high quality and efficient professional services solutions to our customers including consultation, training and support activities of Waters' portfolio of informatics products in a blue-chip multi-sector environment, both face to face and remotely;
- Providing training and guidance to customer to ensure they maintain compliance and enable smooth safe operation of Waters informatics products in their laboratories;
- Maintaining customer relationship and liaising as appropriate with the relevant sales account manager for the customer, ensuring key focus on the customer and their needs are met;
- Effectively handling customer calls and any administration tasks ensuring you optimize your time and delivery against the metrics set within the business;

Qualifications:
**Education**:
- Qualification in Chemistry or other science related field;
**Experience**:
- Understanding of the laboratory workflow and its integration with scientific software systems (CDS, SDMS, LMS, ELN);
Knowledge of the analytical instrumentation environment;
- Experience working with LC, GC and MS systems;
- Good understanding of GMP/GLP requirements;
**Competencies**:
- Highly passionate person with charisma, perseverance and determination, enjoys personal interaction and relationship building with key customers;
- Customer focussed with very good listening skills;
- Good interpersonal skills with a positive sense of humour and is able to contributing as part of an integrated sales/service organisation;
- Good priority setting and organisational skills;
- Analytical mindset with a strong drive to resolve open issues
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to identify and lead a customer enquiry through to the sales team;
- Fluent in German and with good knowledge of the English language;
**Travel**:
- A valid passport will be required;
- This is a territory-based position which can require overnight international travel within the designated territory, and occasional travels to other countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training;
- A disclosure of any criminal convictions may be required as some of our customers work in sensitive and confidential government areas;
