About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Application Specialist to join our team at Dedalus HealthCare Ges.m.b.H. in Vienna or Austria-wide (Home Office). As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deep Technical Investigation: Analyze and solve complex product issues, requiring in-depth understanding of product architecture and source code.
  • Custom Solutions: Create custom solutions or workarounds for problems that cannot be solved through standard support procedures.
  • Bug Fixes and Patching: Develop code patches or updates to fix software bugs.
  • Collaboration with R&D Team Members: Work closely with development and engineering teams to communicate product issues and feedback.
  • Customer Liaison: Provide personalized high-level technical support to key customers.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document complex issues and their resolutions to expand the knowledge base.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the support process by developing new tools and methods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or corresponding professional experience.
  • Java, Java EE, REST API, SQL.
  • HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Curiosity for new technologies and methodologies in software development.
  • Decent English and German skills.
