Key Responsibilities
  • Create interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Transform raw data into meaningful KPIs and performance metrics for business users based on input from the Performance and Data Analytics Team.
  • Ensure data is structured and organized to support efficient querying and reporting.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for data analysis and visualization.
  • Evaluate proper data connections, gateways, and data refresh schedules for up-to-date reporting.
  • Implement best practices for report design, visualization standards, and data storytelling techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI data models, reports, or dashboards.
  • Maintain compliance with established standards across all Power BI Reports and Dashboards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Power BI, SQL, or Excel are a plus.
  • Experience with Power BI tools, including Power Query.
  • Proficiency in DAX for developing measures and calculations.
  • Experience working with data from multiple sources (e.g. databases, data warehouses, Excel).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Strong command of English, knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
