Director of Advanced Power Technology Development for Sustainable Mobility

At Infineon Technologies, we are shaping the future of mobility with innovative semiconductor solutions. As a Director of Advanced Power Technology Development for Sustainable Mobility, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical experts in developing SiC-MOSFET, Si-IGBT, and diode chip technologies across various Infineon sites.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Technical Innovation: Set technical direction together with your team within the field of SiC and Si power device technologies for electro-mobility, fostering continuous improvement of development methods within your team and within the greater development community.
- Lead a High-Performance Team: Hire and on-board new team members in a fast-growing team, shaping the future growth of your team in accordance to the strategic needs of the electro-mobility market and in close alignment with global and cross-divisional development teams.
- Manage Stakeholder Interfaces: Manage interfaces towards various stakeholders within ATV and across, ensuring high-quality outcomes through foresighted planning and understanding the causes of potential problems.
You will be best equipped for this task if you have:
Requirements- A Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Similar Fields: Preferably a PhD, with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in the area of chip technology development.
- Solid Technical Understanding: A solid technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing, along with a proactive mindset and strong communication and moderation skills to align between various stakeholders.
- Complex Situation Management: The ability to understand and structure complex situations, manage crisis situations, consolidate, and present them to senior management level, with convincing communication skills and a connecting personality to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent English Skills: German as a plus.
- Competitive Salary: An estimated annual salary of $150,000 - $200,000, based on your performance, experience, and qualifications, paid 14 times per annum.
