About the Role

This role requires expertise in Austrian payroll compliance and international tax laws. You will collaborate with our product specialists to understand country-specific requirements and develop technical specifications for our payroll engine.

As a Payroll Compliance Analyst, you will educate our product team on legislation, ensure correct implementation of technical specifications by our development team, and maintain legislative specifications for reports and integrations.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring continuous upskilling and compliance awareness of our product team, collaborating on new in-country requirements, and developing and maintaining legislative specifications for reports and integrations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution, with 4+ years of payroll experience in Austria.

You should have advanced knowledge of local payroll tax, strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HRA, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately.

Strong verbal and written skills to connect with clients and align with various stakeholders are essential, as well as strong interpersonal skills to explain complex issues at an understandable level.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and strong proficiency in English are required, with experience in multiple country jurisdictions and supporting the design, build, and implementation of a multi-region Payroll Solution being advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

We estimate the salary for this role to be around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
