About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Global Tax Strategist to join our team at Dr. Pendl & Dr. Piswanger, a specialty vaccine company dedicated to making a positive impact on global public health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic tax leadership and expertise in support of our M&A activities, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance throughout the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on tax implications of global business operations, leveraging 10+ years of experience in international tax strategy.
  • Manage tax audits, disputes, and coordinate with external advisors to mitigate risks.
  • Review international tax returns and ensure compliance with changing legislation.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams on tax-related matters, driving informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in international tax strategy, with a strong background in transfer pricing, tax provision calculations, and tax compliance.
  • A Master's degree in Tax Management, Accounting, or International Law, with preferred certifications such as CPA or CMA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in multiple languages an asset.
  • Able to travel as needed and maintain accurate tax documentation to optimize tax strategy.
