Global Tax Strategist for Vaccine Company

About the RoleThe Director International Tax will be responsible for providing strategic tax leadership and expertise in support of M&A activities, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance throughout the transaction process.
This includes managing tax audits, disputes, and coordinating with external advisors, as well as reviewing international tax returns and ensuring compliance.
You will provide guidance on tax implications of global business operations, monitor changes in international tax legislation, and assess the impact on the company.
Collaboration with finance, legal, and operations teams is essential on tax-related matters, while maintaining tax documentation and mitigating tax risks.
Training and supporting internal teams on global tax matters, researching and monitoring international tax laws, and identifying strategic tax-saving opportunities to enhance overall financial performance are also key responsibilities.
Requirements- A minimum of 10 years' experience in international tax strategy.
- A Master's degree in Tax Management, Accounting or International Law (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
- Experience with transfer pricing, tax provision calculations, and tax compliance.
- Knowledge of M&A tax implications and ability to provide strategic tax advice to senior management.
- Experience with tax audits and disputes in a multinational environment (Pharma/Life Sciences Sector preferred).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is a must; multiple other languages are a plus.
The base salary for this position starts at €120000 gross per year based on full-time employment.
