As a Senior Human Resources Director with HARPS Europe GmbH, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive HR management and support to European management and employees. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to expand their role in a fast-growing global organization.

About the Role

This position involves overseeing HR Managers at our European production sites, acting as an escalation point for complex organizational changes or employee relations. You will also develop and manage global HR projects in collaboration with our Global HR Business Partner in Singapore. Additionally, you will serve as the primary HR contact for European White Collar employees across six countries, providing expertise on European labor law and maintaining compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee HR Managers in Wimpassing and Sopron, ensuring effective organizational change management and employee relations.
  • Develop and manage global HR projects, collaborating with the Global HR Business Partner to drive business results.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for European White Collar employees, providing guidance on labor law and compliance.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Finished studies in HR Management or Business Administration (with HR focus); alternatively, a vocational HR qualification (e.g., HR Specialist).
  • At least 2-3 years solid experience as an HR Manager or a minimum of 5 years in a similar international HR position (HR Generalist/HR Business Partner), preferably leadership experienced.
  • Perfect in German and English both verbal and written (at least C1).
  • Strong understanding of local labor law (international knowledge beneficial) and experience with payroll.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with international tax and payroll regulations, collaborating with external payroll and tax advisors.
