Courier Onboarding Operations Specialist

Wolt, a leading Finnish technology firm renowned for its food delivery service, is expanding its operations and seeking an Operations Associate to join our team in Austria.
Within the Operations Team, our primary focus is on our courier partners. We strive to maintain an optimal number of courier partners to fulfill order demands while enhancing partner satisfaction and refining scalable processes.
As an Operations Associate in the Courier Onboarding Team, your key responsibility will be to onboard new Courier Partners in our region, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service throughout the entire delivery process—from our restaurants and retailers to the end customers. In a fast-paced and dynamic setting, being a collaborative team player is essential, along with the ability to proactively identify and address tasks without waiting for direction. Managing our valued courier partners requires a proactive mindset, as some routine responsibilities will demand our attention.
Our goal is to create the world's premier courier experience by streamlining processes, enhancing content, and minimizing friction wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard, retain, and cultivate a community of satisfied Courier Partners on Wolt's platform to ensure a robust and sustainable delivery operation.
- Receive equipment, maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Distribute equipment directly to courier partners or manage shipping requests for courier partners.
- Conduct inventory audits and order courier supplies.
- Oversee daily courier availability to guarantee timely order deliveries.
- Review documentation and information submitted by courier partner applicants, reaching out for clarification when necessary.
- Develop and enhance processes to drive operational efficiency, enabling scalable business operations.
- Contribute ideas for improvement within the Operations team to enhance ongoing tasks.
- You possess strong interpersonal skills, are an effective communicator, and can motivate teams, as daily interactions with Courier Partners are essential.
- You are a quick learner, attentive to both minor details and the broader context.
- You exhibit a proactive attitude and are prepared to engage in a fast-paced startup environment.
- You have analytical thinking skills and experience with analytical tools; familiarity with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is a plus.
- You can conceptualize, refine, and implement ideas collaboratively with a team.
- You are thorough and organized, completing tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluency in both German and English is required.
