The Mandarin Oriental, Vienna is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of the city, offering an unparalleled level of service and amenities. As part of our pre-opening team, we are seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee all aspects of banqueting operations.

Job Description

We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all operational and administrative aspects of Banqueting Operations
  • Ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation
  • Enforcing and monitoring operational standards, as per our policies, SOPs, and quality measures
  • Creatingsynergies between Banqueting operations and other F&B outlets
  • Coordinating service flow, timings, and set-ups of all events
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A completed vocational training in the upscale hotel or catering industry
  • Ideal 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team of employees from different cultures with sensitivity and discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High-quality awareness and a sense for trends
