About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Customer Success Specialist to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving and closing Microsoft Support contract opportunities to ensure customers are supported throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer needs, technical strategy, and competitive landscape to map customer support contracts to desired states and expectations.
  • Foster and advise customers on digital transformation, exploring and assessing their needs to ensure alignment with the account strategy and plan.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and services to lead the proposal or development of solutions that align with customer and Microsoft priorities.
  • Drive consumption and grow business with existing strategic customers by initiating conversations and collaborating with partners or internal teams.
  • Develop strategies for driving and closing strategic and/or prioritized opportunities, leading the sales orchestration and deal execution with internal stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements
  • Several years of technology-related sales (ideally services sales) and account management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience with selling technology-related support services with an emphasis on cloud-based solutions to large enterprise accounts and exceeding sales targets.
  • Full proficiency in German (Level C1 or higher) and English (both written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leading or orchestrating sales processes across account planning, opportunity planning, deal negotiation, customer decision frameworks, evaluation plans, and engaging in sophisticated business case discussions.
  • Disciplined operator with demonstrated accuracy in forecasting business and maintaining pipeline hygiene.
  • Strong track record of carrying and exceeding an enterprise account sales quota.
  • Broad understanding of commercial cloud offerings, ideally including Microsoft's cloud platform, including competitors and related ecosystems.
