Technical Content Specialist

About the Role
Lam Research is seeking a skilled Technical Content Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documents, procedures, and manuals that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical content, including procedures, manuals, and other documentation, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product support, to gather information and ensure that content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to manage and publish content.
- Develop and maintain technical publications, including taking and editing photographs, and creating visual aids.
- Ensure that all content meets company standards and is compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or technical communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Word and other content creation tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong self-organizational skills and creativity.
- Excellent team player with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical writing and content development.
- Experience with content management systems, including Photoshop and FrameMaker.
- Experience in a similar industry, such as semiconductor manufacturing.
- Familiarity with design for serviceability, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Ability to learn and understand challenges and limitations within other disciplines.
