Serving a broad range of industries, including several Commonwealth Government departments (NDIA, Digital Health Authority, DVS, National Indigenous Association, and more), the company is well-positioned for rapid growth in the public sector.
They are the only provider with direct access to police check data, offering a unique competitive advantage in the market.
Additionally, the CEO's decades of law enforcement experience delivering unparalleled insights into industry needs and compliance standards.While the company has a small team of 10, it has vast potential for expansion, especially with new regulations from the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission coming into effect in January.
This is a key moment for the company to further establish itself as a leader in the compliance and identity verification space.
The Role:We're on the hunt for an experienced, driven, and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join a growing SaaS company that specialises in simplifying compliance and identity verification.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to increase market share within the compliance and identity verification sectors.Lead Generation & Sales Cycle Management: Drive the full sales cycle, from generating leads and nurturing prospects to closing deals.Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term, strategic relationships with government bodies, healthcare providers, and private organizations.Market Research & Reporting: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company's offerings meet evolving market demands.Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including web developers and police check specialists, to align efforts and deliver outstanding service to clients.What kind of background/experience might you have? Proven SaaS Sales Experience: Successful track record of selling SaaS solutions.Autonomy & Initiative: Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and take ownership of sales targets.Strong Communication Skills: Confident in your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with digital tools, CRM systems, and data management platforms.Industry Knowledge: Understanding of police checks, identity verification, and compliance is a plus, but not required.What you can expect if you work here?
