About the Opportunity
The Head of Logistics Operations is a high profile leadership role responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness and efficiency of a complex international and domestic distribution network servicing a large, national store footprint.
This includes accountability for shipping and clearance inbound, and store replenishment and direct to customer fulfilment outbound, making the role critical to the delivery of an outstanding customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Effective management of international and domestic 3PL partners to ensure key performance indicators are met across service, safety and cost.
Lead and develop a passionate team responsible for the execution of logistics strategy, while establishing collaborative partnerships with key internal stakeholders across the business.
Employ Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives to unlock opportunities for supply chain optimisation.
Contract management along with significant P&L accountability to meet commercial objectives.
Skills & Experience
We are seeking interest from results-oriented logistics professionals that can demonstrate a track record of process and systems improvement, within large scale and complex retail and eCommerce fulfilment environments.
An effective communicator to the executive group, the successful candidate will be a commercially astute leader who can collaborate at all levels, and be comfortable in an environment going through transformation.
