Acclaimed as one of Australia's leading residential project marketers, Oliver Hume Real Estate Group is the marketing force behind an enviable list of some of Australia's most reputable residential communities and residential development companies.About the OpportunityWe have a rare opportunity for an established real estate sales leader to join the team.The General Manager (Sales) position will foster strong relationships with our vendor partners (both public and private vendors), drive sales outcomes for our vendor partners, generate ideas to meet the market to exceed sales targets and deliver an exceptional and professional service level to our vendors.
Working amongst a team of three Victorian General Manager peers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an allocated project portfolio delivering the overall strategic objectives of projects to enhance sales growth and increase market share.
Leading a sales team, some duties will include:Sales Leadership - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.Team Management - Recruit, train, and lead a motivated sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.Strategic Planning - Identify growth opportunities, analyse market trends, and implement plans to expand market share.Vendor Focus - Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring vendor satisfaction and loyalty.Financial Management - Monitor budgets and optimise resource allocation to maximize profitability.
Managing overdue debtors, file registrations, out files and other key financial metrics.
About YouThe successful candidate will have:Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferable) and demonstrated experience in sales management in a fast paced results driven environmentQualifications to sell residential property Significant experience in managing the project marketing aspects of land projectsExperience in administrative functions in relation to finance to be able to converse with the VendorsIdeas driven and sales results focused Strong commercial acumenDigitally savvy with ability to learn and embrace new digital systems Exceptional planning and organising skills in order to meet and exceed deadlines and performance targetsWell-developed written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated negotiation skillsDemonstrated understanding in the use of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)Strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and relationship management skillsEnergetic and engaging – able to create rapport with a wide range of people and project a positive image for Oliver Hume.This is a great opportunity to join an industry leading real estate group with a people orientated culture and work in a supportive team aligned to achieving success.Applications will close at 5pm Wednesday, 15 January 2025.If you meet the above requirements and are excited about this great opportunity, then we want to hear from you
