The young people who attend have typically experienced significant and complex educational, social, developmental, psychological, health, legal, or familial situations which demand unique responses.
Such interventions are embedded within the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practice.
We are seeking an enthusiastic P&C Business Partner in a newly created role within the People and Culture team.
This role is for a professional who is relationship-driven, passionate about HR, and eager to expand their expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
This role has a generalist focus responsible for partnering with line managers to deliver an effective and impactful service on a variety of people matters across the employee life cycle.
An area of specialisation in either Talent or Employee Relations would be beneficial.
This role is a full-time 1.0FTE ongoing position, based at our Carlton office, working both in the office and from home, with travel to school sites.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and the incumbent will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
You will need: Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles: Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal, and Honesty.Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to produce a range of reports, correspondence, and recommendations that are evidence-based.Ability to plan and deliver work and projects aligned to core business.Experience in case management on a range of human resources issues, with in-depth knowledge of Talent or Employee Relations and contemporary HR practices.Previous experience in the education sector is highly desirable.Ability to obtain and maintain a Victorian Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months).Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People are encouraged to apply; we are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity.
