HLB Mann Judd has a long track record of successes at the awards since 2012 – a testament to our great people delivering great resultsThe role:Our Sydney firm is made up of around 200 staff and Partners in Sydney and a further 40 operating from our Manila office.We are seeking a People and Culture Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of all HR activities in the employee lifecycle including:recruitment,onboarding,learning and development,performance and progression,reward and recognition,employee relations and performance management, andcompliance and policy implementation.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a team of 3 HR professionals and will be responsible for:Drafting and implementing HR strategy in consultation with the People & Culture CommitteeTraining and development initiatives (internal & external) for all staffLeading the performance and remuneration review processCoaching and mentoring leaders and peers on effective people practicesManaging grievances and performance issues as they ariseRegularly reviewing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws including Award complianceOverseeing the recruitment process to ensure sufficient staff for achieving the firm's objectivesCoordinating staff surveys and making recommendations for actions to the People & Culture CommitteeCompletion of annual WGEA ReportDriving other HR projects and initiatives as they ariseTo be successful you will have:Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline;Minimum 6 years' experience as a HR Generalist in a professional services environment;Technical competence in all facets of generalist HR including performance management, change management, talent management, recruitment, succession planning, leadership development, remuneration and benefits, and engagement;Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation;Demonstrated experience in day-to-day supervision of people and ability to lead a small team;Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, exercising tact and ensuring confidentiality;Ability to maintain and build strong relationships with staff and Partners; andExcellent attention to detail in HR administration and reporting.Why HLB Mann Judd?We have a strong and inclusive culture, that is based on mutual respect, collaboration and personal development.
