Led by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Student Success, the portfolio oversees programs and policies that foster academic success, student belonging, well-being, and career readiness.
The Student Services Hub is a complex, multi-channel environment which represents the key contact points for prospective student, current students, staff and external members of the university community and as such, are pivotal in advancing the brand and reputation of the University.
The Student Services Hub is responsible for the provision of efficient and high-quality customer service and support for Western Sydney University and The College students.
About the Opportunity We currently have an opportunity for 2x Student Services Hub Officer to join our team.
This is a varied and rewarding role with a focus on quality frontline service and the delivery of a student-focused experience.
The two opportunities are as follows: 1 x Full-time, ongoing position based at the Future Students call centre at Western's Hawkesbury campus, although there is occasionally a requirement to travel to other campuses to support business needs.
1x Full-time, fixed term position until 4 July 2025 based at Western's Liverpool City Campus, although there is occasionally a requirement to travel to other campuses to support business needs.
The Student Services Hub Officer will be expected to provide support to students face-to-face, online, and via telephone across a broad range of activities and functions.
You will assist students in the use of online systems and processes to enhance their capacity to self-manage and self-inform.
The position contributes to the establishment, review and maintenance of consistent procedures and high-quality customer service at locations within their operational team.
They will also be responsible for dealing with all Western Sydney University students with specific issues and will act as the liaison point on complex matters with the University's support services.
In the Future Students call centre, you will make a significant impact by providing crucial support and administration services.
You will perform as a subject matter expert for Future Student enquiries, act as a liaison for complex matters and liaise with stakeholders.
Your expertise will be invaluable in offering support and delivering quality advice and student administration services to our diverse student body and Management team.
